ScribeZapp Pro — getting your installer

After subscribing on Gumroad, use one of the two methods below to access your Pro installer and license key.

Via your Gumroad email receipt

The fastest way — your download link is already in your inbox.

    Open the inbox you used when subscribing on Gumroad.

    Find the receipt email — search for Gumroad or look for a subject line starting with "Your receipt from…"

    Click "View Content" or "Download" inside the email.

    Click the installer file to download it to your PC.

Method 2

Via your Gumroad Library

All your purchases are stored in your Gumroad account — access them anytime.

    Go to gumroad.com/login and sign in.

    Click the "Library" tab in your dashboard.

    Find your ScribeZapp product card and click on it.

    Click the Download button next to the installer file.

After downloading the installer

Pro: How to install & activate

Once you have the Pro installer downloaded from Gumroad, follow these steps. Core: just run the installer above — no activation needed.

Run the installer

Double-click ScribeZappSetup.exe and follow the setup wizard. AI models for your plan (faster-whisper, pyannote.audio if applicable) download automatically during installation — keep your internet connection active at this step.

Windows SmartScreen warning? Click "More info" then "Run anyway". The installer is code-signed by Edgelytix Technologies Incorporated — this prompt appears because ScribeZapp is a newer publisher.

Find your license key

Your license key is in your Gumroad receipt email. It looks like: XXXXXXXX-XXXXXXXX-XXXXXXXX-XXXXXXXX

You can also find it in your Gumroad Library — click your ScribeZapp product and look for the license key field.

Activate on first launch

On first launch, ScribeZapp will ask for your license key. Enter it exactly as shown — no spaces. The app connects to Gumroad once to verify the key and record your activation. After that, ScribeZapp works fully offline.

Each license key activates on one PC only. To move to a new machine, email us with your Gumroad order number — we'll reset your activation within 1 business day.

Start transcribing

Drag an audio or video file into ScribeZapp, choose your settings (language, model, diarization on/off), and click Transcribe. Everything runs locally on your PC — your recordings never leave your machine.

System Requirements

Operating System Windows 10 or Windows 11 (64-bit only)
Processor Any modern x64 CPU (Intel or AMD). No GPU required.
RAM 8 GB minimum · 16 GB recommended for larger files and diarization
Disk Space ~2–4 GB depending on plan (AI models stored locally)
Internet Required during installation only (model download + activation). Not required for transcription.
GPU (Optional) NVIDIA CUDA GPU optional — improves speed but not required.

Troubleshooting

I can't find the receipt email
Check spam/junk and search for "Gumroad". If still not found, log in to gumroad.com with the email used at checkout — all purchases are in the Library tab.
Activation failed — "key already used"
Each key allows one activation. If you haven't used it on another machine, email us with your Gumroad order number — we'll reset it within 1 business day.
Windows SmartScreen is blocking the installer
Click "More info" → "Run anyway". The installer is digitally signed and safe. SmartScreen warns on newer publishers until enough installs are recorded.
I replaced my PC and need to re-activate
Email us with your Gumroad order number. We'll reset your use count so you can activate on the new machine.
Installation is slow — models not downloading?
AI models are large files (1–3 GB). Keep your internet connection stable during setup. If the download fails, re-run the installer — it will resume from where it stopped.
Any other issue
Contact support — include your Gumroad order number, your Windows version, and a brief description of the problem. We reply within 1 business day.
